You can help us improve education for racial justice and truth, healing the divisions we all feel – keeping our eyes on reconciliation. Your donation will bolster our concrete initiatives to:
- Foster dialogue that builds bridges across differences
- Work with Birmingham-area schools to improve the teaching of civil rights history, leading with our own stories
- Provide leadership for the local Coalition for True History that pushes back on anti-truth efforts to hamper teaching about topics that some find uncomfortable
- Highlight stories about housing discrimination and its legacies and encourage teachers to build lesson plans on that often-overlooked aspect of our nation’s history
- Make much-needed improvements to our website’s infrastructure, allowing us to add more stories and push them out to media, educators, and authors across the US and internationally
